About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary face of the branch, facilitating seamless vehicle handovers and processing rental contracts
- Drive branch revenue by offering vehicle upgrades and insurance waivers to customers
- Manage heavy administrative duties while maintaining high-quality client interactions in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve customer complaints and queries effectively and positively
- Maintain fleet availability and ensure general housekeeping of the branch and vehicles
- Work collaboratively within a team to provide solutions under high-pressure conditions
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Valid driver’s license (code 08)
- Own reliable transport
- Previous experience in customer service or the car rental industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with car rental reservation systems
- Basic knowledge of different vehicle types (automatic and manual)
