About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage customers to gather job requirements and translate them into detailed manufacturing, kitting, and shipping instructions.
- Suggest workflow and process improvements to maximize benefits for both the customer and the company.
- Perform quality reviews for Print Production Specialists to ensure accuracy before production begins.
- Enter and verify job instructions in manufacturing systems and manage production schedules.
- Provide pre-sales support by discussing manufacturing capabilities and requirements with customers.
- Coordinate with internal plants and external vendors to manage components and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Monitor job progress throughout production and ensure final products meet company and customer standards.
- Compile data regarding customer feedback, invoice status, and production forecasts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant administrative or operational support experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency with computers and software (MS Office, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workloads.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP.
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Additional education or professional certifications in a relevant field.
