Customer Retention Specialist

Responsibilities

• Drive positive customer experiences through communicative and professional case resolution
• Manage customer rate requests and billing adjustment cases for small business customers
• Proactively educate customers on rates, pricing changes, and value to support retention
• Act as a subject matter expert on pricing, products, and the competitive landscape
• Handle inbound customer calls related to rate reviews, billing inquiries, and cancellation requests
• Identify early indicators of customer attrition to implement proactive retention strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in billing, customer service, or sales
• Ability to handle approximately 30 calls and 25-30 cases per day
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Valhalla/White Plains, NY 4–5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• Experience in customer retention
• Experience in payment services or SaaS environments

• $55,000 – $60,000 annual base salary
