Customer Representative

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and provide friendly, trusted assistance with their banking needs
• Handle a variety of transactions and queries accurately while prioritizing security and fairness
• Guide customers toward appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools
• Work collaboratively within a busy branch team to deliver excellent service during peak times
• Follow established processes and escalate concerns to protect both customers and the organization

Requirements

• Ability to commute to the Reading, Berkshire branch within 45 minutes
• Strong people skills with the ability to show patience and empathy to customers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift
• Digitally savvy and confident using technology to assist customers
• Excellent communication skills for face-to-face, phone, and digital interactions
• A positive mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure
