About the role

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers into the branch and provide friendly, trusted assistance with their banking needs
  • Handle a variety of transactions and queries accurately while maintaining security and fairness
  • Guide customers through appropriate banking products and digital tools to help them manage money confidently
  • Support customers via telephone and online, particularly on branch closure days
  • Work collaboratively within a busy team environment to deliver excellent service during peak times
  • Follow internal processes and escalate concerns to protect both customers and the company

Requirements

  • Must live within a 45-minute commute of the Glasgow branch
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact naturally face-to-face and over the phone
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable guiding others through technology and digital services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
  • High level of empathy, patience, and people skills
  • Availability to work full-time (35 hours per week), Monday to Saturday
