About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure a friendly, safe, and secure environment for all IKEA visitors and customers
- Manage children's safety and cleanliness in Smaland and oversee amenities like the 1st Aid and Nursing rooms
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on IKEA Family and IKEA Family Kids Club activities
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally to enhance the shopping experience
- Record information, manage paperwork, compile statistics, and perform general housekeeping
- Contribute to department action plans and deliver on assigned tasks
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and people
- Ability to work independently and as a motivated team player
- Proficiency in computer literacy and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work retail shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
