About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers
- Handle customer issues efficiently and with empathy
- Record information accurately in relevant systems for future service improvements
- Support the execution of the Customer Relations action plan and service targets
- Promote delivery and assembly facilities to customers
- Resolve customer complaints within authorized levels and escalate complex issues to management
- Ensure safety guidelines are met within the Customer Relations area
- Support front counter, home delivery, and merchandise pick-up areas as required
Requirements
- Experience in customer handling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional resilience and ability to handle conflict calmly
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Independent decision-making skills
- Willingness to work weekends, shift hours, and public holidays
