About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer interface for complaints and after-sales service, managing cases from registration to final response.
- Lead 8D investigations and manage major action plans arising from customer complaints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics) to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Plan and support customer audits and site visits.
- Monitor the implementation of preventive actions and analyze recurring defects to define long-term improvement initiatives.
- Maintain customer specification deviation matrices for products in serial production.
- Monitor KPI performance and costs related to customer quality and after-sales activities.
- Exercise authority to stop production if product integrity is at risk.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer quality.
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and quality tools such as 8D, DMAIC, Six Sigma, and 5 Whys.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work onsite in Lons Le Saunier, France.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.

- Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
