Customer Quality Engineer (CQE)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical interface and main point of contact for customer quality issues, escalations, audits, and scorecards.
• Manage customer communications regarding nonconformances, containment, interim actions, and corrective plans.
• Own the end-to-end compliant process, including intake, triage, containment, root cause analysis, and verification of effectiveness.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, and DOE methodologies.
• Monitor key quality metrics such as DPPM, AFR, LRR, and MFR to drive continuous improvement plans.
• Partner with SQE, MQE, and engineering teams for quality excursion investigations and root cause analysis.
• Lead or support Kaizen events focused on defect reduction, early defect discovery, and improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, or Reliability Engineering.
• Expertise in quality methodologies including 8D, FMEA, CAPA, and Six Sigma.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor or server products.
• Proven experience in Server platform design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyperscale/cloud customers or the ODM/OEM ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Reliability testing, including HTOL, stress testing, and system validation.
• Experience with manufacturing processes related to server platforms.
