About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical customer-facing lead within the Quality Organization, supporting Automotive customers in the Asia region.
  • Manage the resolution of quality issues for Qualcomm Snapdragon, Modem, and 5G technologies from development through mass production and field returns.
  • Partner with Automotive customers and internal engineering teams to address quality concerns and customer returns.
  • Support customer APQP processes, including documentation and risk assessments, to facilitate new product bring-up.
  • Collaborate with global Qualcomm teams to implement worldwide CQE strategies and handle quality issue follow-ups.
  • Work closely with local Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering teams to drive the adoption of Qualcomm PCNs.
  • Survey key customers regarding quality KPIs and participate in regular business reviews.
  • Provide customer intelligence to internal teams regarding regional requirements, standards, and emerging risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive industry, specifically in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor processes, including wafer fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Hands-on proficiency with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, curve tracers, and CSAM.
  • Expertise in the application of 8D Methodology and related problem-solving tools.
  • Understanding of Electrically Induced Physical Damage (EIPD).
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Automotive industry standards including PPAP, APQP, and IATF 16949.
  • Knowledge of CMOS manufacturing, construction, and deconstruction.
  • Familiarity with IC assembly methods and digital/mixed-signal test systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations with customers and internal stakeholders.
