Customer Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of customer programs and projects as the primary contact for Specialized Gear Services (SGS) customers.
• Manage large, complex contracts, including negotiation, proposal review, and monitoring contract performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure project compliance and on-time delivery.
• Perform risk analysis for programs and implement mitigation strategies and contingencies.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans to meet specific customer needs and manufacturing schedules.
• Utilize lean methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action, to solve problems in a team environment.
• Support business growth objectives and participate in daily production meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of related professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in customer or program management.
• Proficiency in SAP (specifically Sales, Materials, Quality, and Production modules).
• Experience working within ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or AS9100 quality systems.
• Strong risk analysis, mitigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management within the industrial or machine products sector.
• Knowledge of gears and Curvic Couplings.
• Experience working directly on-site with customers in a project management capacity.
