Customer Production Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform system installation, project management, calibration, retrofit, training, and troubleshooting.
• Escalate customer production problems and take ownership of issues until resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong technical relationships with customers to actively work on issue prevention.
• Create and implement support plans in conjunction with cross-functional groups to reduce equipment downtime and maintenance costs.
• Execute technical support by engaging with various internal Teradyne resources and technical teams.
• Facilitate the transfer of application knowledge from specifier teams to customer production support teams during the release phase.
• Provide technical expertise in hardware and software to manage application and production issues.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
• Experience working with customers in the semiconductor test area.
• Ability to work under high pressure and manage constant requirement changes.
• Strong working attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with testing or Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in handler or prober hardware docking integration.
• Knowledge of Silicon photonics, Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), or PIC measurement and testing.
