Customer Order Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a sales specialist for customer demand and manage various logistics projects focused on process change and improvement
• Serve as a single point of contact for internal customers regarding operational supply activities
• Manage customer relationships by providing daily operational support at both intercompany and external account levels
• Analyze operational data to identify root causes of repetitive issues and drive corrective actions
• Control, monitor, and improve the entire logistics chain to maximize availability and minimize costs
• Plan and execute the procurement of finished goods and sub-assemblies
• Maintain strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders to confirm delivery plans
• Manage backlogs, EDI transmission exceptions, and IDOC monitoring

Requirements

• Educational background in Business or Supply Chain Management
• Familiarity with Supply Planning and Order Fulfillment processes
• Proficiency in SAP, specifically within the SD or MM modules
• Advanced MS Excel skills and general MS Office proficiency
• Business fluent English; German language skills are a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and remain result-oriented
• Ability to respond resourcefully to shifting priorities and multiple demands
