Customer Order Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a sales specialist for customer demand and a single point of contact for internal customers during logistics projects.
• Manage customer relationships by providing daily operational support for both intercompany and external accounts.
• Analyze operational data to identify root causes of repetitive issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve the entire logistics chain to maximize product availability and minimize costs.
• Plan and execute the procurement of finished goods and sub-assemblies.
• Manage backlogs, EDI transmission exceptions, and IDOC monitoring.
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to confirm delivery plans.

Requirements

• Educational background in Business or Supply Chain Management.
• Familiarity with Supply Planning and Order Fulfillment processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Business fluent English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with a result-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of SAP modules, specifically SD (Sales and Distribution) or MM (Materials Management).
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.
