About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Commercial Credit Customer Operations and Support group, overseeing day-to-day accounts receivable collections and customer financial entry.
  • Research and resolve collection discrepancies by analyzing customer behavior, billing accuracy, and process gaps.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders in Order to Cash, Accounting, and Commercial teams to investigate aging receivables and reduce past-due balances.
  • Resolve customer disputes regarding invoicing and collections to protect company liquidity.
  • Drive strategic process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Prepare and present bad debt expense activities to senior leadership and coordinate SOX quarterly reporting.
  • Manage and lead audit requests to ensure compliance and effective governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Commercial, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience working with Power BI, RightAngle, SAP, or Salesforce.
  • Experience identifying trends, patterns, and process gaps.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to identify root causes and enhancement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in working with financial statements.
