Customer Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated technical support issues for merchants regarding point of service (POS) products, including dial-up terminals and software-based systems.
• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, chat, or SMS, providing detailed solutions and maintaining accurate records in company databases.
• Research new or previously unknown POS product issues to assist in finding resolutions.
• Assist in coaching and training less experienced teammates on product knowledge, policies, and compliance regulations.
• Utilize various databases and software packages to manage client inquiries and achieve quality and productivity goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with software packages.
• Strong research skills to investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
• Ability to work on assignments requiring considerable initiative and independent problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Previous customer service experience specifically within the payments industry.
