About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build the full lifecycle automation engine from scratch, covering activation, adoption, expansion, and reactivation.
- Develop behavior-triggered in-product and email messaging systems rather than broad broadcast campaigns.
- Execute targeted campaigns to specific segments in collaboration with the Founding Marketer and Product teams.
- Drive adoption of existing features by designing and measuring the impact of specific engagement plays.
- Create a scalable, automated support and training experience, including knowledge bases and guided flows.
- Define lifecycle tracking metrics and work with Data and RevOps to ensure accurate visibility into user movement and drop-off.
- Manage reactivation programs to re-engage dormant accounts and under-engaged users.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in lifecycle, growth, or CRM marketing within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of building a lifecycle engine from zero, including designing journeys and selecting tools.
- Expertise in segmentation and behavioral targeting for high-value B2B audiences.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, educational content for virtual training and product messaging.
- Proficiency with tools such as Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or HubSpot.
- Data fluency, including experience with SQL, event tracking, and CDP setups (e.g., Segment).
- AI literacy and the ability to integrate LLMs into your professional workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with low-volume, high-value audiences such as Private Equity, consulting, or financial services.
- Experience building self-serve support hubs or knowledge bases from scratch.
- Experience shipping in-product messaging via tools like Pendo, Appcues, or Intercom.
- Previous experience at a vendor adjacent to the PE or consulting industries.
