Customer Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical requirements between global customers and ZF engineering teams
• Drive clarification of platform-related technical topics and lead development coordination
• Represent ZF engineering to customers and manage cross-project specifications and standards
• Lead project engineers for platform component acquisitions and manage technical topics
• Serve as the primary engineering contact, leading technical meetings and customer presentations
• Identify customer pain points and market trends to promote ZF innovation products
• Provide on-site technical support near the customer and maintain strong customer relationships

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive supplier industry
• Technical knowledge of chassis system and component products
• Proven competence in managing customer and supplier relations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good intercultural understanding and a willingness to travel frequently
