About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Drive sales performance and manage budget/cost centers to achieve profitability
- Foster a customer-centric culture by integrating physical and online shopping experiences
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the team is informed on products and promotions
- Oversee facilities maintenance, loss prevention, and health and safety protocols during shifts
- Coach and provide feedback to team members to support talent development and high performance
- Collaborate with the Store Leadership team to execute strategic retail initiatives
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, merchandising, or operations
- Proven experience leading and managing others
- Knowledge of Provincial Health & Safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds using appropriate safety techniques
- Availability for a minimum of 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize tasks in an agile environment
