About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive and grow top-line sales by leading and directing associates on the sales floor
- Coach associates in the moment to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure brand presentation excellence
- Support operational excellence through payroll management and merchandise availability
- Act as a front-line supervisor by assigning work and providing direction to non-supervisory associates
- Conduct associate observations and link results to specific behaviors and actions
- Manage labor hours independently to drive store profit and sales
Requirements
- Proven merchandising skills and attention to visual detail
- Experience reviewing business reports and insights to take deliberate action
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and stretching
- Experience in a retail environment (1 year preferred)
- Experience directing or influencing others in a professional setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within retail
- Strong ability to use retail technology including headsets and mobile devices
