Customer Experience Associate

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders while coordinating with manufacturing, logistics, and technical teams
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding product information and order status
• Support sales by generating quotes, following up on leads, and identifying cross-selling opportunities
• Maintain customer data within Salesforce and NetSuite to support quote-to-cash workflows
• Triage customer service inquiries to appropriate departments like finance or technical support
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive service and operational improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years equivalent experience in Biology, Biochemistry, or DNA Synthesis
• Proficiency in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud)
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Basic understanding of biological data and file formats
• Ability to work 2-3 days per week in the Emeryville office
• Ability to work East Coast hours (6am shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the DNA synthesis industry
