About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Customer Engineers
- Design and operationalize team-level delivery frameworks and standardized playbooks
- Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex integration challenges involving web automation and AI frameworks
- Establish and enforce SLAs, queue health metrics, and internal dashboards
- Synthesize technical trends into actionable feedback for Product and Core Engineering teams
Requirements
- 6+ years in technical, customer-facing roles (Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, etc.)
- 2+ years of direct people management experience
- Proficiency in modern web technologies and headless browser automation (Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium)
- Ability to read, write, and debug code in TypeScript and/or Python
- Practical experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, crewAI, or Vercel AI SDK)
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco
