Customer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage technical ownership of coating processes, including maintaining controls and documentation
• Work with plant teams to investigate nonconformance using quality tools to implement corrective actions
• Partner with operational and quality teams to drive process improvements
• Provide expertise in costing, estimating customer requirements, tooling design, and parameter development
• Participate in customer meetings and technical reviews regarding project progress and results
• Create essential documentation such as job instructions, safety analyses, and standard operating procedures
• Produce product validation reports based on laboratory results from test pieces and components
• Support all health, safety, and environmental policies to achieve zero-harm targets

Requirements

• Higher education degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• Proven experience in plant or project engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective project management skills
• High attention to detail regarding safety and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a metallographic laboratory environment
• Background in coating, materials science, or the aerospace industry
