About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) across Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from initial onboarding through renewal and expansion.
  • Own the long-term technical relationship to ensure alignment between customer business goals and the product roadmap.
  • Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and account growth, driving platform adoption and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to demonstrate ROI to C-level executives.
  • Utilize AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and telemetry monitoring.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Engineering).
  • Broad technical expertise in web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate with C-suite executives.
  • Must be based in Mumbai, India.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem (e.g., Workers AI, AI Gateway).
  • Knowledge of applied AI, including prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or RAG architectures.
  • Proficiency in coding or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for custom integrations and API connectors.
