Customer Engineer

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues and facilitate successful adoption of the Anyscale platform
• Act as a technical advisor and internal champion for key customer accounts
• Own customer issues end-to-end, including troubleshooting, triaging, and escalation
• Participate in a follow-the-sun support model to ensure continuity for high-priority tickets
• Track customer bugs and feature requests to influence product prioritization
• Contribute to internal tools, playbooks, guides, and best practices documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to improve the product experience
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role within a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in machine learning engineering, specifically developing data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and inference/serving of LLMs
• Experience running and optimizing infrastructure for distributed ML workloads on major cloud platforms (AWS/EKS, GCP/GKE, or Azure/AKS)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High sense of ownership and self-motivation

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Ray
• Knowledge of MLOps platforms
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), or CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions)
