Customer Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Research and catalog contact, account, and opportunity information
• Build relationships with existing accounts to decrease dormancy across the account base
• Use effective sales techniques to uncover customer needs that can be addressed through WP Engine solutions
• Articulate the benefits of our solutions to prospects across various industries
• Schedule quality meetings and opportunities to consistently over-achieve quotas
• Generate lead volume and warm introductions for the account management team

Requirements

• Prior sales or outbound prospecting experience
• Experience navigating Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport via phone, video, email, and LinkedIn
• A performance-driven mindset with the grit to navigate rejection in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to actively seek out and apply constructive feedback to sharpen sales skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to structured sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, Sandler, or SPIN
