Customer Delivery Van Driver

Responsibilities

• Delivering beds, mattresses and furniture safely into customers' homes
• Assembling products in the customer's room of choice
• Providing friendly, professional customer service on every delivery
• Working as part of a two-person delivery team
• Using a handheld PDA to manage deliveries and complete delivery records
• Driving safely and carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Representing the Bensons for Beds brand

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Manual handling experience (essential)
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture
• Must be 21 years of age or over for insurance purposes
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive, can-do attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience driving a commercial van
• Comfort using handheld devices or PDAs
