Customer Credit Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound customer calls regarding credit applications and account enquiries
• Review and process new customer credit applications in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Deliver a high-quality, customer-first experience in every interaction
• Accurately record customer interactions and application progress within company systems
• Review daily credit reports and escalate issues to the appropriate channels when required
• Proactively follow up with customers to gather necessary information to support application outcomes
• Ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience in a call centre or phone-based customer service role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Confidence handling high call volumes and managing customer expectations
• Ability to navigate digital systems while simultaneously speaking with customers
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to follow complex processes accurately
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in credit, banking, or accounts receivable environments
