About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of customer care members in a high-volume environment
- Manage a busy contact centre function across phone calls and shared inboxes
- Oversee enquiries from municipal, council, and residential customers
- Coordinate workflow, rosters, and resources to meet daily service demands
- Manage escalations and complaints to ensure timely and effective resolution
- Provide hands-on support to the team during peak periods to maintain service levels
Requirements
- Proven experience leading teams in a high-volume customer service or contact centre environment
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Experience managing workflow, rosters, or resourcing to meet service demands
- A solutions-focused approach to handling escalations and complex complaints
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships
