Customer Billing Representative

Responsibilities

• Analyze meter reading and consumption data to resolve billing issues and ensure correct rate applications
• Process billing adjustments, corrections to unmetered services, and device errors
• Perform special billing functions including usage analysis, rate changes, and bill recalculations
• Maintain strict customer confidentiality and comply with all company policies and data security standards
• Interact with internal departments such as Marketing, Field Customer Service, and Credit & Collections to obtain or furnish information
• Assist with updating billing procedures and complete assigned tasks within established schedules

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or billing environment
• Proficiency in SAP customer information systems or the ability to learn quickly
• Strong arithmetic skills and ability to perform accurate bill calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively with frequent interruptions
