Customer Benefit Advisor I

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing accurate information regarding benefits, claims, and policy administration.
• Assist customers via multiple communication channels with empathy and professionalism.
• Meet or exceed company goals and performance metrics, including accuracy, handle time, and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize multiple system applications and tools to compile and relay information to customers seamlessly.
• Maintain detailed and appropriate documentation for internal cross-functional business partners.
• Follow all documented processes and workflows to enhance service efficiency and protect customer privacy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Ability to work a regularly assigned shift between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to work on-site at our Chattanooga, TN corporate office.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience, particularly in the insurance, healthcare, medical, or financial fields.
• Experience working with dual monitors and navigating multiple software systems simultaneously.
