Customer Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to debug and validate digital multiphase products
• Interact with customers to solve complex technical problems
• Support marketing efforts by providing detailed solutions matching customer requirements
• Contribute to system validation of new controllers, VPS, and SPS products
• Work with designers to provide detailed information for design execution and verification
• Develop technical collateral including datasheets, performance reports, and application notes
• Support training of other Application Engineers and Field Application Engineers

Requirements

• BS in engineering (EE/power electronics preferred) with up to 5 years experience, or MS with 3 years experience
• Experience with firmware-enabled products and powering large scale application-specific ICs (CPU/GPU) in data centers
• Experience with multiphase DC/DC converters powering Intel, AMD, or SoC systems
• Knowledge of mixed-signal Integrated Circuits and systems
• Experience with digitally enabled power management products
• Understanding of control loop theory and its application in power converters
• Proficiency with lab equipment including network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators
• Experience with automation of lab testing
• Ability to travel to customer sites in Asia and the US (15-20%)
