About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to fulfill global tax documentation requirements and manage custody tax withholding expertise.
  • Manage and develop staff, ensuring clear reporting lines, objectives, and continuous professional development.
  • Establish and monitor systems of control, limits of delegation, and escalation procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and remove redundant tasks.
  • Provide client-facing support and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to resolve complex issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with global teams to communicate issues, share ideas, and follow support protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of Custody experience in a custody and/or middle office environment.
  • 3+ years of experience managing staff (at least 2+ team members).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong business sense and awareness of risks within income or tax operations environments.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
