Custody Operations Associate

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day custody operations, including managing daily tasks and ensuring seamless service functioning
• Oversee secure token movements and implement robust key management practices for cryptographic keys
• Conduct ID verification and wallet whitelisting to adhere to security and compliance protocols
• Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve financial discrepancies promptly
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement application enhancements for operational efficiency
• Manage client inquiries related to custody services and foster strong institutional relationships
• Develop and track KPIs, operational procedures, and management reporting to optimize performance
• Engage with regulatory bodies to assist with audits and ensure industry compliance

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a trading firm, hedge fund, investment bank, or similar financial institution
• Demonstrated experience supporting institutional or high-value clients in a regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Solid understanding of financial products and basic custody processes
• Strong self-management skills with a focus on organization and checklist-driven workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with crypto assets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum)
• Experience with SOCII documentation
• A proactive, collaborative attitude and a desire to become a digital asset expert
