Custodian

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning including restrooms, sweeping, mopping, glass cleaning, trash removal, and dusting
• Execute periodic special projects such as carpet extraction and upholstery cleaning
• Prepare and reset rooms for daily use
• Operate equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and sprayers
• Assist with event setup and furniture moving as requested
• Use Facilities Link management software daily

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to work regular 8-hour shifts
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in environments with moderate noise, fumes, or airborne particles
