Custodian Trainer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and update training programs for custodian employees
• Provide guidance and ongoing staff development for new hires and existing team members
• Evaluate employee performance to ensure assignments meet departmental standards
• Order janitorial supplies and maintain well-stocked janitorial closets
• Perform general care and cleaning of university buildings
• Follow the direction of supervisors and abide by all University policies and procedures
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the custodial field
• Strong knowledge of cleaning terminology and industry standards
• Proficiency in safety procedures regarding the handling of hazardous chemicals
• High School Diploma or GED
