Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities including floor care, vacuuming, polishing, and disinfecting
• Clean residential units, common spaces, offices, and bathrooms
• Communicate with staff to coordinate routine cleaning services
• Report accidents, safety concerns, and maintenance repair needs to supervisors
• Practice infectious control protocols and proper chemical handling techniques
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways, including snow removal
• Maintain adequate supply and inventory levels
• Ensure work areas and equipment are properly stored

Requirements

• At least one year of housekeeping experience
• Ability to handle physical labor for at least 8 hours per day
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Working knowledge of safety precautions regarding product usage and disposal
• Strong customer service skills
• Dedicated to the mission of Covenant House

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
