Custodian

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties to keep assigned college buildings and areas in a neat and orderly condition
• Clear snow and ice from stairs, walkways, driveways, and college roads using manual or motorized equipment
• Perform necessary repairs and routine planned maintenance on custodial equipment
• Execute various other facilities tasks as assigned under general supervision

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED
• Experience in custodial or a related field
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics
• Ability to operate custodial equipment and college-owned vehicles
• Valid PA driver’s license, clear of major violations
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift 40lbs regularly
• Ability to work on ladders at heights of up to 10 feet
