Custodian

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of residential and academic buildings during the 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.)
• Execute cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, waxing, and cleaning restrooms and showers
• Manage waste removal and polish furniture
• Operate and maintain basic custodial equipment
• Assist with snow removal at door entries and furniture setups in event spaces
• Follow written and oral instructions to maintain building standards

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Ability to lift and move items over 25 pounds
• Ability to pass a background check and physical examination
• Ability to follow routine cleaning and building maintenance procedures
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled spaces and perform physical tasks such as crouching, bending, or working on ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience
