Custodian

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary manufacturing production facility through routine and specialized cleaning tasks
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize production floors, hallways, and common areas
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces daily
• Remove trash, recyclables, and manufacturing waste from designated collection points
• Clean and maintain industrial equipment exteriors and non-operational machine surfaces
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and hand-washing stations
• Operate industrial floor scrubbers, sweepers, and pressure washers
• Properly label, store, and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA and SDS guidelines
• Monitor and report facility maintenance needs, safety hazards, or equipment issues to supervisors

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including safety signage
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience
