Custodian

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas, including residential rooms, hallways, lobbies, and lounges
• Use cleaning equipment such as automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, wet mops, and large wringers
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and polish floors to meet health standards
• Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment
• Perform special cleaning of induction units, walls, lighting fixtures, and windows
• Manage linen removal, cleaning, and exchange
• Remove trash from premises and assist in cleaning emergency spills
• Maintain assigned equipment and supplies, requesting repairs when necessary

Requirements

• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies, techniques, and safe chemical handling
• Ability to work in potentially remote or uncomfortable environments and adverse weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous professional custodial or maintenance experience
