Custodial Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks for office, production, and common spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic areas by cleaning, sanitizing, and replenishing supplies.
• Respond to immediate cleaning needs or spills to ensure facility safety.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as manual and robotic floor scrubbers.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and transport them to appropriate disposal sites.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces including light switches, door handles, and drinking fountains.
• Assist with the setup and teardown of corporate events.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety and sanitation policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-2 years of related experience and training.
• Proven experience in facility cleaning; experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull loads up to 33lbs.
• Basic math skills for measuring cleaning supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, safety guidelines, and equipment manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency.
• Previous experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
