Custodial Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the daily activities of 45-50 student custodial workers
• Clean university buildings with the assistance of student workers to ensure campus is disinfected and well-maintained
• Mentor and nurture student employees, providing positive learning opportunities
• Arrange daily work schedules and oversee student employee time cards
• Assist in the hiring, training, and evaluation of student personnel
• Train students in the safe use of equipment and proper chemical usage
• Perform custodial work for absentee students as needed to maintain service levels

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience supervising employees
• Expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Must be a Seventh-day Adventist church member in good and regular standing
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing stairs, walking, bending, and reaching
