Custodial Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and schedule custodial staff and contracted personnel to perform cleaning services.
• Conduct facility walks, quality control inspections, and safety audits to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Supervise staff through hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Manage employee timecards, PTO, and departmental coverage to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain professional relationships with site customers, suppliers, and employees.
• Prioritize tasks and ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Support the 2nd shift and work occasional overtime, including weekends as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience/certifications).
• 2 years of relevant facilities experience.
• Strong knowledge of custodial best practices, safety rules, and sanitation measures.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• US Citizenship is required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual skills (Spanish).
• Experience working with customers and contract execution.
• Prior experience working within a trade union environment.
• Experience in supply ordering and purchase order management.
