Curriculum Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic year course planning and collaborate with department leadership on teaching assignments
• Update curriculum plans in MPathways and manage course listings in the LSA Course Guide
• Project enrollment demand and manage course waitlists and registration overrides
• Communicate with faculty regarding enrollment, course scheduling, and teaching preferences
• Manage faculty teaching plans, verify annual teaching obligations, and maintain lecture history
• Coordinate exam scheduling, including make-up exams and student accommodation requirements
• Hire and process payments for exam proctors
• Assist with the planning and implementation of student events, including orientation and commencement
• Develop ad hoc reports on enrollment patterns and course demand

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience
• 3+ years of experience coordinating programs or events in an academic setting
• High level of proficiency with spreadsheets and database software
• Strong computing skills, including Microsoft Office suite and Google apps
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with web-based surveys
• Knowledge of University of Michigan policies
• Experience with Wolverine Access, M-Pathways, Business Objects, InfoReady, MailChimp, or Canva
