Curriculum Alignment Specialist, Math Focus

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation of math skill plans that pair IXL content with U.S. state standards, textbooks, and assessments
• Manage a team of contract aligners to create and maintain alignment documents across various subjects
• Make strategic decisions regarding project priorities and alignment details
• Review new skill plans for quality and style, incorporating feedback to ensure high-quality alignments
• Use in-house tools to create and release alignments, including formatting spreadsheets to meet technical requirements
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to troubleshoot bugs and meet educator needs
• Drive special alignment projects by defining scope and executing comprehensive plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree
• 1+ years of experience aligning content to state standards, specifically with math standards
• Proficiency in math content through calculus
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with standards in multiple U.S. states
• Experience with ELA, science, or social studies content
• Knowledge of Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP or CONCATENATE
• Experience with web technologies, programming, or databases
