About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the culture strategy for the Data Digital & Technology (DD&T) division to strengthen engagement, inclusion, and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, translating engagement survey insights into scalable interventions that reinforce Takeda values.
  • Lead an integrated portfolio of culture programs focused on belonging, recognition, and cross-site collaboration.
  • Define and govern the annual culture roadmap aligned with DD&T strategic priorities.
  • Build and sustain the global Culture & Values Group operating model, providing playbooks and toolkits to enable local site autonomy.
  • Design interventions that strengthen the connection to patient impact and purpose.
  • Partner with communications teams to create compelling narratives and campaigns that showcase culture in action.
  • Establish measurement approaches to track participation, feedback, and engagement drivers to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Organizational Psychology, HR, Communications, Business, or Learning & Development.
  • 10+ years of experience leading culture, engagement, communications, or organizational effectiveness programs.
  • Proven experience designing scalable culture interventions within global, multi-site organizations.
  • Strong expertise in facilitation, stakeholder management, and program governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate listening insights into measurable organizational outcomes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with high cross-cultural fluency.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and lead through empowerment in a decentralized network model.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within global technology organizations or during large-scale transformation contexts.
  • Experience integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) practices into culture operating models.
  • Familiarity with advanced measurement design, including NPS and qualitative thematic analysis.
