The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (Pozez JCC), located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a nonprofit, social service organization that builds community and enriches lives. The Pozez JCC is a community connector, offering a variety of programs and services on the main campus, online and throughout Northern Virginia through its many partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support special interest groups and clubs tailored for senior adults
• Provide administrative and logistical support for cultural arts events, lectures, performances, and workshops
• Provide on-site support for live events, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Create engaging marketing materials and graphics for social media platforms
• Maintain an active and consistent presence for Adult Programming across social media and virtual community spaces
• Act as a responsive point of contact for program participants to answer inquiries and gather feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Communications, Human Services, Digital Humanities, Cultural Studies, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience in community organizing, event coordination, or program support
• Proficiency in standard office software and digital design tools like Canva
• Experience utilizing social media platforms
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Jewish traditions, culture, and values
