Culinary Assurance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Sanitation and leadership to drive ownership of food safety, quality, and culinary standards
• Supervise and mentor the Q&FS teams through training, coaching and performance management
• Implement food safety, quality assurance and culinary programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Plan, conduct and monitor inspections and testing of materials and products
• Generate reports describing activities, trends, expenditures, and lab data technical analysis
• Ensure adherence to quality programs, including HACCP and GMPs
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety culture and reduce risk

Requirements

• 3-4 years of management experience in a commercial food environment
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety in a food manufacturing plant
• Knowledge of food safety principles including HACCP and GMPs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and SAP
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
• Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00PM-11:30PM) and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Restaurant cooking experience
• USDA experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Relevant degree
