About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach students advanced culinary techniques, budgeting, and menu creation
- Lead a community-based pop-up kitchen project
- Meet with students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm
- Participate in occasional after-school school events and activities
- Prepare for projects for up to 2 hours per week
Requirements
- Experienced chef or culinary arts leader
- Skilled in culinary and cooking techniques
- Ability to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm from September to May
- Commitment to supporting students' social emotional and academic development
- Self-directed learner capable of implementing feedback
