About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach students advanced culinary techniques, budgeting, and menu creation
  • Lead a community-based pop-up kitchen project
  • Meet with students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm
  • Participate in occasional after-school school events and activities
  • Prepare for projects for up to 2 hours per week

Requirements

  • Experienced chef or culinary arts leader
  • Skilled in culinary and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm from September to May
  • Commitment to supporting students' social emotional and academic development
  • Self-directed learner capable of implementing feedback
